Cathedral or Cathedral Rock is a check out dive for many open water student divers. The dive here is done usually by returning to the boat, with a slight to moderate occasionally switching current often south bound. It has under water artificial land marks like a castle and the famous cross that named it cathedral. This cross made out of concrete cement and was installed by former Philippine president Fidel V. Ramos, when he was then a Constabulary chief.
The shallow area is abundance in hard corals with a sandy bottom on the way to the cross. The two big rocks lay underwater at 18 meter and are coated with soft corals, big sea fans and lots of fish. Sometimes octopus, a pygmy sea horse, green turtles, giant black frog fish and marble sting ray can be encounter and a pair of grey Bamboo shark often rests at 38 meters. The main attraction is fish feeding often done by divemasters and instructors.
