Best dive-season / How to get there: International flights reach Cebu City airport. From here it's a 2 1/2h drive to Moalboal. Pescador island is reached within 10 minutes by local Banka boat.

The south part of Pescador island is a sandy slope with rock boulders, table corals and rubble. It's the ideal place to find small critters like scorpion and false stonefish, ribbon eels and different kinds of anemone fishes. Under the table corals sometimes juvenile whitetip reef sharks are found. Out in the blue is a resident shoal of bigeye mackerel and enormous clouds of Sardines drifting by depending on season.
