Best dive-season / How to get there: Internation flight carriers bring you to Cebu. From there you take a domestic flight to Negros. Once arrived in Dumaguete city(Negros) it’s a 40 min. car ride till Dauin coast. The sanctuary is located exactly infront of El Dorado Beach Resort and can be easy accessed.

El Dorado housereef is an excellent dive site for video and photo taking. The sandy slope with corals big coral blocks is about 80 meters long and 20 meters wide with a maximum depth of 20 meters. At 6 meters the saeafloor is coverd with sea grass where you find nudibranches, ghostepipefish and sometimes seahorses. The coral reef starts after 8 meters, big and small hard- and softcorals form a coral garden with lots of reef fishes. You see plenty of reef fish which are not shy at at all, as the site is a protected sandtuary. Turtles and stingrays are seen as well as small critters like leaf fish and a good selection of nudibranchs.
