Badian Island offers many dive sites just offshore. Coral Gardens, Garden Eels, Badian Wall and Fisherman's Cave have a shelf that begins at 3 to 4 meters then drops off to 30 to 40 meters. You can see many fan and large green hard coral. There is usually a school of 20 to 30 small Yellowtail Barracuda swimming by. Sometimes you can see turtles. It is a good area for night diving. The currents are small to medium and the visibility is 15 to 25 meters.

Coral Gardens is a well known trainee dive site but also serves as prime snorkeling area. There is a small sandy area on the shelf at 3 meters, which we use for our Open Water Training Dives.

Garden Eels: You go down the drop off to about 30 meters. Then from 30 to 34 meters there is a large sandy spot covered with Garden Eels poking their heads out of the sand. You need to be down current and very still or the eels will go back into their holes.

Badian Wall & Fisherman's Cave: These two spots are located on the north & northwest side of the island about 10 minutes away. The current is sometimes a little stronger here, so there is usually more fish activity.

Sawang: This is a shallow dive that is sometimes used for Open Water Training Dives. It starts at 3 meters with sandy spots for skills and patches of corals. Then it gradually slopes. It is a good safe dive for beginners.
